How to disclose your link
One honest sentence next to every link. Here is what counts.
Every time you share a BRO affiliate link, the people seeing it must be told, clearly and before they click, that you earn money if they join or buy. That is a rule of the program and the law in the US (the FTC's Endorsement Guides) and in many other places.
The short version
I earn a commission if you join or buy through my link.
Good examples
- Ad: I earn a commission if you join Bro Plus through my link.
- #ad I get paid a commission when you sign up for bro.com through my link.
- Affiliate link: I earn a commission if you join or buy through it, at no extra cost to you.
Where it goes
- Next to the link, in the same post, caption, video or email. Not only in your bio, a footer, or behind
"see more".
- Video: say it out loud as well as in the description, before or when you mention the link.
- Images and stories: on the image itself, in text big enough to read.
- Podcasts: say it when you read the link.
- Short platforms: "#ad" or "Ad:" at the start works; "#sp", "#affiliate" alone or "thanks BRO" do not.
Also
- Say only what is true about BRO. Do not promise features, prices or results that are not on bro.com.
- Your honest opinion only. If you have not used something, do not say you have.
- Never aim it at anyone under 18.
